Daylight slowly wanes

While shadows come out to play

Hear the crickets song

Always vigilant

In constant motion

A hummingbird pauses

In her own way

Bee's knees

Flower to flower

Minding his own beesness

Knees get dirty

Shades of gray

A soft rain falls

On a delicate gray day

Time to rest

A storm gathers

Storm clouds move in

As the day comes to an end
