In early springtime

nature returns to color

uplifting spirits

of warm light in a dim room

feeling contentment

sometimes you have to strut

or maybe just get up

Hard times overcome

rising up from the pond mud

an object of beauty

A starry spring night

the heavens shine with wonder

would you like to drink

It's opening day

Hummingbirds and butterflies

are soon approaching

Spring in Ohio

Cherry blossoms are blooming

not in my backyard
